Lutheran
Womens Missionary League Canada
Whether you are a professional working women, a stay
at home Mom, a retired lady, or a Snowbird
during the winter months the LWMLC is asking
you to consider joining our group here at Trinity Lutheran.
We meet only one evening per month the 2nd Wednesday
of each month. Upon request we can arrange transportation
to those meetings. We support mission endeavors and
try to keep our congregation informed and involved with
guest speakers and special events such as the annual
Prayer Pal Party, retreats and special mission projects.
Another service to our congregation is arranging and
serving at funeral receptions. We also participate in
LWMLC Fraser Valley Zone spring and fall renewals and
any other special events which allow for fellowship,
service and worship.
Sunday
School
Our Sunday school begins at 9:45 AM every Sunday morning
in our second floor education area. It accommodates
youngsters from age 3 to grade 7. It begins with a short
worship and singing time together before the children
break off into their individual classes. The Sunday
school overlaps the worship service. Children and teacher
come down to join the worship service at approximately
10:45 for the childrens lesson. The children
and teacher then go to the pews to finish worshipping
with the congregation beginning with the reading of
the Gospel Lesson and the Sermon.

Korean
Ministry
Rev. Park is a special missionary sent to assist and
evangelize Korean families who live temporarily in Abbotsford
so that their children attend local schools and learn
English. Rev. Park is not a Lutheran pastor and his
congregation is separate from Trinity. However; Trinity
supports and accommodates him and his congregation because
of their mission activity. Many of Korean parish activities
happen on Sunday afternoons. Besides regular worship
at 2 PM there is a childrens church, youth Bible
class and a fellowship meal. Often there is also musical
instruction. There are many during-the-week activities
as well, but it is best to contact Rev. Park directly
for information.
