Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran Church takes place every Sunday morning, starting right after the children’s sermon (about 15 minutes into the Divine Service). Children from K to grade 7/8 are welcome. Teens are welcome to help out.
The Enduring Faith Bible Curriculum (Concordia Publishing House) is being used.
TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
10:30 -11:30 am with Pastor Henock
We are currently studying the Old Testament book of Malachi.
This Bible Study runs between October and November. We’ll take a break during Advent, and resume in January. Everyone is welcome – bring a friend and study God’s Word together!
Malachi is a book of prophecy delivered through a series of dialogues where God confronts the people’s and priests’ unfaithfulness, corruption, and apathy. It addresses the poor quality of temple sacrifices, the men’s betrayal of their wives through divorce, and the people’s selfishness in failing to tithe. Despite the people’s sin, Malachi offers hope by promising that God will send a messenger to prepare the way for the Lord’s coming, who will purify the people and bring judgment for the wicked but salvation for the faithful remnant.
ADULT MEMBERSHIP CLASS
Pastor arranges the classes on an ad hoc basis
These classes prepare newcomers to our congregation for full communing membership in the church. We review basic Lutheran teachings, traditions and history.
